IMC Manganese Ltd., a company that is held by Indochina Mining Corporation – a subsidiary of PHI Mining Group and Enter Blessing Corporation, has been involved in the exploration for manganese in Thailand. Finished the due diligence for the establishing the Joint-Venture, we are in the stage of expanding exploration as well as finishing legal procedure for going into operation within 3 months.
Located in an area with several advantages such as flat terrain, sound infrastructure, electricity & water supply in place, abundant labor, nonetheless, the mine has been only exploited manually with low productivity and efficiency due to lack of proper investment. As per target of the Joint-Venture, mining capacity will be raised up to 10,000 MT per month of manganese with average content of 40% since the last quarter of 2009.
Surrounded by an extensive region of rich manganese potentiality, the project is expected to set the foothold of IMC in its manganese mining in Thailand. and IMC Manganese regards this as the 1st step to Thai under-explored natural resources.
